DiGrassi still in lead after first London Round

LucasDiGrassiABTSorry, I missed today’s London race which is the first half of the Formula E season finale. I was busy moving into a new apartment. At any rate, Lucas DiGrassi still leads the championship by 3 points after landing 4th in the race ahead of his rival for the title, Sebastien Buemi.

The race was apparently won by Nicolas Prost, Buemi’s team-mate. This is Prost’s second podium this season and his second victory in Formula E, so congratulations to him. Sadly, Prost’s victory also places him third ahead of Sam Bird who until a few races ago was himself a serious contender for the title. Prost has no shots at the title but this result is excellent none the less.

Mahindra’s Bruno Senna also pulled a surprise move by finishing second. Extremely well done considering both the driver and the team.

The third podium was taken by ex-F1 driver Jean-Eric Vergne. Good job!

And whichever driver wins the title tomorrow, they’ll have deserved it for this tight and exciting season.
